I converted the space under the stairs into a playroom so the kids can’t mess up the house
IF you are older, it can seem impossible to keep the house neat and tidy.
However, one mother came up with a solution to the problem and transformed the space under her stairs into one small playroom for her children.
Smart mother Jade, who posts below @jaderathbone3uploaded a video showing how she decorated the space into a fun space for her kids.
She added a mini kitchen, stuffed animals and… books to keep her children busy.
And to make it look nice, she added streamers to the door, glow-in-the-dark stars on the walls and ceiling, and a colorful playmat on the floor.
Jade wrote: “POV, you’ve converted the cupboard under the stairs into a little playroom for your kids so they have their own space to throw away.”
She added: “Although I’m pretty sure we like it there as much as they do.”
Many parents were very impressed with her idea to use the space and rushed to the comments to praise her.
One said: “This is so cool.”
Another said: “Aw, I love this!!”
And a third said: “You mum – you are a genius!”
Playrooms aren’t the only ways people use the cupboards under their stairs.
Smart homeowners utilize the wasted space by creating some seriously dreamy rooms.
By gaming From dens to enviable dog beds, people are thinking outside the box with their designs.
A woman cleaned out her cluttered closet and moved her boyfriend’s gaming gear inside to give him his own space to play – and it costs her nothing to do.
Meanwhile, one dad turned his closet into his personal ‘man cave’, complete with a giant TV and beanbags, simply by rearranging what he already had in his home.
According to IdealHomePlacing a small toilet under the stairs can increase the value of your home by up to 5 percent.
