This year, the battle would be between the Mahayuti alliance, comprising the BJP, Shiv Sena and Ajit Pawar’s faction of the NCP, and the MVA (Maha Vikas Aghadi), which includes the Congress, Shiv Sena (UBT) and the NCP led by Sharad Pawar.
