Donald Trump is not going to attend the championship match of the American hockey team against Canada in Boston, according to reports.
The matchup between the US and Canada is surrounded by rising tensions between the two countries after Trump recently threatened to impose rates on the latter.
The two nations played a brutal game in Montreal on Saturday, in which three fights saw three fights in the first nine seconds.
Emotions ran everywhere after Canada fans, for the front of Prime minister Justin Trudeau, fading in a furious 'The Star-Spangled Banner' while the pre-game played.
Prior to Thursday's championship match in Boston Bill Guerin van Boston, Bill Guerin insisted that President Trump encouraged them of the stands in the midst of rivalry with Canada.
But according to Hockey insider Frank Seravalli, the 78-year-old currently has no plans to be there.

Trump has inflamed a fierce rivalry with Canada after he threatened to impose rates, while he also suggested that the country could become the '51st state' of America and called Trudeau 'Governor', which led to the recoil of the old ally.
In recent weeks, a large number of Canadian sports fixtures have been marred by expressing the American national anthem, while American fans have also taken revenge by making the Canadian equivalent.
Guerin spoke on Monday on 'America's Newsroom' on the chaos with the two nations.
“Canada-us is a huge rivalry in hockey,” said the general director of the American hockey.
'I think there was a bit of a political flare [last Saturday’s game]. It's just the time we were.
'I think our boys used that as inspiration. If you better get it from you, you are in trouble. But I really think the players used it as inspiration. '
Guerin also called that game 'the highest level of hockey ever played' and expanded an invitation for Trump to attend Boston.
He continued: “We would love it if President Trump was present.
“We have a room full of proud American players and coaches and staff and listen, we just try to represent our country in the best way we can.”
Trump recently lived most recently in the weekend of Nascar's Daytona 500 in the weekend in Florida, after he also went to New Orleans to view the Super Bowl victory of the Philadelphia Eagles on the Chiefs of Kansas City on 9 February.
But it seems that he will not accept the invitation to attend Thursday's hockey final between his country and Canada.
