NEW DELHI: NCP-SP MP Supriya Sule on Wednesday rejected claims on charges of misappropriation of bitcoin/crypto and using bitcoin to fund current funding. Maharashtra Assembly Elections.
Speaking to reporters, Sule dismissed the allegations as “lies and fake” and detailed her response to what she called “fake videos” and voice recordings circulating in the media.
“Yesterday all these voice recordings were sent to me by the media. The first thing I did was call the Pune commissioner and tell him fake videos were on the run, and I wanted to file a cybercrime complaint,” Sule said. “I immediately filed a complaint with the cybercrime department that all these voice messages and messages were lies and fake, so I sent a report to the cybercrime department.”

Meanwhile, Sule’s brother and his opponent NCP chief Ajit Pawar, in response to the released audio clips, suggested Sule’s involvement in bitcoin activities. Pawar, after casting his vote in Baramati, confirmed the authenticity of the votes.
“Whichever audio clip is shown, I just know I’ve worked with both. One of them is my sister, and the other is someone I’ve worked with a lot. The audio clip has their voices; I can tell from their tone,” he told reporters.
