NCP factions lock horns over viral Bitcoin audio clip; fake, says Supriya Sule
NEW DELHI: A major political controversy has erupted on Maharashtra’s election day over allegations of Bitcoin scam money being used for election financing by NCP leader Supriya Sule and Congress leader Nana Patole.
The BJP on Tuesday released an audio recording, leveling serious allegations against Supriya Sule and Maharashtra Congress chief Nana Patole.
While Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar claimed that it was her “sister’s” voice in the audio clip shared by BJP, Supriya Sule categorically rejected these allegations.

“Yesterday all these voice recordings were sent to me by the media. The first thing I did was to call the Pune commissioner and tell him that fake videos were running and I wanted to file a cybercrime complaint,” said Sule.
“I immediately complained to the cyber crime department that all these voice messages and messages were lies and fake, so I sent a notice to the cyber crime department,” she added.

When asked about her brother Ajit Pawar’s comments on the audio clip, she replied, “He is Ajit Pawar, he can say anything. ‘Ram Krishna Hari.'”
Besides the cybercrime complaint, Sule has filed a defamation complaint against BJP spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi. “I am ready to answer Sudhanshu Trivedi whenever he wants, in whatever city he wants, on whatever channel he wants, at whatever time he wants, wherever he calls me, I will come and answer him,” said them.

Sharad Pawar defends Sule and criticizes BJP over ‘bitcoin scam’ allegations


Nationalist Congress Party (NCP-SCP) chief Sharad Pawar defended Supriya Sule and said, “The person who made the allegations was in jail for several months, and he took that person along and made false allegations – only BJP can do this.”
