The protests and distributed collisions with law enforcement in Los Angeles have played live on cable news, with top anchors looking to cover the events personally.

Once a brilliant on-Air psychologist who is known as a sidekick for Oprah Winfrey, Dr. Phil McGraw has emerged in recent years as a conservative personality with ties with President Trump, whom he interviewed sympathetically, multiple time During the 2024 election season.

Dr. McGraw also interviewed Thomas D. Homan, the border of Mr. Trump. Mr. Sharell said their conversation was recorded on the days before and after Friday’s raids, although Dr. McGraw time with Mr. Homan spent on a local Homeland Security Field Office in Los Angeles on Friday.
