A violent road rage incident breaks out on a busy Australian road. Which driver is at fault?
A chaotic incident involving road rage on a busy Newcastle street has been caught on camera.
The footage shared on Reddit on Monday shows a red Ford Escape driving into the back of a Volkswagen Tiguan.
The driver of the Volkswagen gets out and confronts the Ford driver. He tries to grab him through the window and shouts: ‘Are you f*cking happy, bitch?’
He then accuses the Ford driver of driving too close to him, yelling, “He’s been up my f*cking ass since I left the station.”
Despite the shock, the Volkswagen appeared undamaged, as the tow bar had become caught behind the Ford’s bumper and was completely torn off.
“You can’t herd people into their cars and yell at them because they didn’t meet your standards,” one said.
A second added: ‘Reacting with anger and rage is not going to solve the problem. The guy hit him, the damage is minimal to none, the insurance will sort it out.’
However, others accused the Ford driver of bad driving.

“Tailgaters are the worst. I can handle most of them, but I worry about people like the elderly or the inexperienced who panic when someone drives up behind them,” said one.
A second said: ‘He literally has a Ford bumper hanging from his tow bar!’
“I think that’s an indication that that old buddy was up his ass and that he got a little bit of karma for his actions.
“People who don’t obey the traffic rules (3 seconds difference) might want to pay attention. He blew up for a good reason I think.”
NSW Police have been approached for comment.
