‘I literally thought I was going to lose her. I thought I was actually heading to what could have been her deathbed.”
The two teens fled the home but were arrested a short time later.

The girl’s mother is speaking out in an effort to prevent similar incidents from happening to other vulnerable people.
She said her daughter was treated “like an animal” by her alleged attackers.
“It’s sickening, very sad and not fair to my daughter that these children can just walk out and no one can be held accountable,” she said.
