An iconic athletics stadium that previously organized the FA Cup final will get a new life.
Crystal Palace National Sports Center Got in decline after the closing of almost four years ago.
The South London complex was closed in November 2022 after unexpected safety problems.
Concrete pillars that kept the spotlight up were discovered that they were unsafe.
Before 2012, the land of 19,000 capacity organized the London Grand Prix before the event was switched to the nearby London Stadium.
The Fa -Cup Final was also held on the same site between 1895 and 1914, with the current stadium opened at the same address in 1964.
After his surprise closure, the site quickly grew into a state of decay.
The career was partially torn, with the scoreboard and stands Strewed with fox and rat poo.
An Olympic swimming and diving bath on the site is also closed.
The move has frustrated local coaches, who have to maintain the facilities, to reopen to train new talent.

John Powell, chairman of Crystal Palace Sports Partnership, said the Guardian: “At the moment you have an interior with rats on and everywhere pigs.
“There are trees that grow from the western stand and then there was the spotlight, which meant that nobody could train there in the dark now.
“London is the only capital in Europe that has no dedicated athletics center.
“Crystal Palace is the most accessible athletic stadium in the country, so it’s a total joke that is allowed.”
Extra financing has now been provided to restore Crystal Palace in its former glory.
The course has now been passed on, while the reopening of the 50m and diving pools remains the most important priority for the project.
London Assembly Member for Bexley and Bromley, Thomas Turrell, said: “The phased target openings for facilities on the estate remain before 2027 and 2028.
“The project is currently in the middle of the contractor purchasing process, aimed at a contractor on board by the spring of 2025.
“A planning entry will follow later in the year with works that are programmed to start on the site in 2026.
“I am pleased that this project is developing. Although there is still a lot to do, and I know that the locals will be opened the swimming pool as quickly as possible, it is good to see that progress is finally made.
“The center has forgotten too long and I am really enthusiastic about this plan.
“It’s time to bring British athletics to Crystal Palace!”
