Abbey Clancy Reveals The Embarrassing Blunder She Made During Taylor Swift Concert

IT SEEMS like just about everyone saw Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour when it finally arrived in the UK in June, and Abbey Clancy was among those in attendance at Wembley.

But things didn’t quite go to plan for the model, as she explained in the most recent episode of The Therapy Crouch, the podcast she shares with her husband Peter Crouch.

Seeing everyone on social media going wild with their concert outfits, Abbey decided to do the same and planned some sparkly outfits, complete with pink cowboy hats and boots for the show.

“I bought bracelets, cowboy boots, sparkly skirts, Taylor T-shirts and cowboy hats for everyone,” she said.

But it wasn’t just the outfits that Abbey decided to go all out with.

She also paid for a pink Hummer limo to take them to the stadium.

But despite putting all the time into the preparations and making it an unforgettable concert for daughter Liberty, not everything went quite as she had hoped.

That was because no one else at the concert seemed to be making even half the effort, which left Abbey feeling embarrassed.

“It felt like we were on a bachelor party in Benidorm,” she joked to Peter.

Aside from a few younger kids wearing cowboy hats, everyone seemed to be opting for a more subdued look.

Even Peter found the blunder funny.

Taylor Swift praises Travis Kelce’s Eras Tour debut during London show, admits she ‘fainted’ over boyfriend in tribute

“When Ab called me, I cried [laughing],” he said.

The blunder didn’t stop Abbey from having a great time at the show with her daughter Liberty and her friends, though, and she admitted she still had a great time.

The mom’s fashion blunder comes after she criticized a popular 2000s trend that’s now making a comeback.

In a previous episode of the podcast, the Britain’s Next Top Model star explained: “I think things always come back, which is really annoying because I’ve literally given away about a million pairs of J Brand jeans.

“Skinny jeans, hipsters, flared jeans. I like hipsters.”

The model then noticed that Juicy Couture, which was made popular by heiress, socialite and OG influencer Paris Hilton, has also become trendy again.

She claimed that the popular 2000s trend has become even more popular since Zendaya wore a pink Juicy Couture zip-up hoodie in the 2024 hit film Challengers, in which the famous actress plays a tennis player turned coach.

Abbey continued: “The girl in the tennis movie [Zendaya] wore a Juicy tracksuit.

“I bought a few more recently.”

Despite this, she claimed, “But they don’t make Juicy tracksuits like they used to.

“I loved my Juicy trackie. It was so stretchy.

“It was super tight around the arms, like a belly, and then super wide on the legs.”

Is Taylor Swift’s Eras Merchandise Worth the Price?

BEFORE seeing Taylor in action, Fabulous Digital Writer Leanne Hall explains whether the merchandise is really worth the price:

“As 29-year-old Swiftie, who was in the top 0.1% of Taylor listeners on Spotify last year, I can say I’m super excited to see her on the Era Tour in London later this month.

“Given the three-hour setlist, it’s no surprise that Taylor was named Time Magazine’s Person of the Year. Fans lucky enough to get a ticket know they’re in for the concert of the century.

“The Eras Tour catapulted the singer/songwriter into the billionaire club and it was no surprise that some tickets in the UK sold for almost £700 each.

“The tickets were expensive, but her merchandise wasn’t far off the price most artists charge. I’m definitely going to spend hundreds of dollars to get tour jerseys and t-shirts.

“If I paid £70 for a hoodie I would think twice about shopping in a store, but this is no ordinary hoodie.

“Yes, it makes you look great when you wear it to the store, but it’s also a piece of your day that you can keep forever and look back on fondly. And for me and many other Swifties, no price tag can match that.”
