This year’s ABLW season will not have one but two weeks dedicated to LGBTQI proud in a scoop for Australian sport.
The release of the schedule on Friday showed that this year’s Pride Round will extend from round nine to round 10, start sunbathing versus dog game on October 19.
According to the AFWW, the extra pride matches ensure that each team can wear its pride strip at a home game.
The west coast of Daisy Pearce will be host Golden coast During the opening evening of the ABLW season, while North Melbourne is launching their Premiership defense to Geelong.
The Eagles-Suns Clash, confirmed in Friday’s release, immediately follows the previously announced season opener between traditional enemies Carlton and Collingwood on Thursday 14 August.
It is the first time that the Outws season starts during the Offspring Home-and-Away campaign, coinciding with the last two rounds of the men’s competition.

The GMHBA stadium of Geelong is the only large Aflocation where afling matches are played in 2025. Nobody is planned for Premier locations in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth or Adelaide.
Unpopular Midweek Liks were dropped in 2025, except for Thursday evening functions in rounds one, seven and eight, with the last two falling on either side of the afling final.
The fixture is partly based on last season’s ladder, divided into three groups of six, and is weighed to guarantee more match-ups within each group.
Aflw’s Two most important theme -rounds will both be played for two weeks; Indigenous round in rounds three and four and proudly round about rounds nine and 10.
Intrastate rivalry is littered over the fixture, starting in round five when Fremantle West Coast is hosted in the harbor.
Sydney and GWs collide in round six, Gold Coast takes it on Brisbane in round eight and Adelaide fighting with Port Adelaide in round 11.
The schedule for the final round of the home and road season is driven to be confirmed closer to the date.
ABLAND GRAND Final Hosting Rights will fall on the highest ranked provisional definitive winner.
