If you are considering buying a new Chromebook, Acer has just come up with a compelling reason to look at the plus range.
Select Acer Chromebook Plus models for a limited time (between now and 1 February 2026), are bundled with $ 240 to Google AI services.
The eligible models are the Acer Chromebook Plus 514516 and spin 714. The Google AI Pro plan unlocking access to Gemini 2.5 Pro, 2 TB cloud storage and AI functions in Gmail, Docs and other Google services.
While you get a completely free year of the Google AI Pro plan, it is worth mentioning that a monthly $ 19.99 subscription starts after the promotion period, so you have to remember to cancel it if you do not want to get continuous costs.
Users also receive NotebookLM, which helps with organizing and synthesizing research and flow, a video tool built to help make cinematic stories. Flow is powered by Google’s VEO 3 Fast model, included as part of the same plan.
NotebookLM offers more depth in user sessions, which offers the number of notebooks, queries and source references five times compared to the free version. It is focused on research and writing more manageable for students, professionals or content makers.
The Chromebook Plus Spin 714 Sports Intel Core Ultra Processors and up to 16 GB LPDDR5X RAM. It contains a convertible form factor and stylus support.
The 514 (CB514-5H) offers an Intel Core 7 chip, coupled to a maximum of 16 GB LPDDR5X memory and 512 GB storage. The 514 (CB514-6h) runs on an Intel Core 3 N-series processor and also supports up to 16 GB RAM and 512 GB NVME SSD.
For those who need more screen space and strength, the Chromebook Plus 516 includes an Intel Core 7 -processor, 16 GB LPDDR5X memory and 512 GB internal storage. All models support Wi-Fi 6th or Wi-Fi 7 and are equipped with QHD displays with high resolution.
All Chromebook Plus devices are also supplied with the built-in AI tools from Google, such as Magic Eraser and AI-improved video calls.
