Acer has announced the Acer Freesense ring, a new smart ring in the health that ‘Ai Enhanced’ Wellness Insights offers.
It was unveiled during this year’s computex conference in Taipei, and we do not yet know how much the ring will cost, or when it is for sale – but we do know that it will not have extra subscription costs.
With two color options, rosé gold (a matte finish) or black (shiny finish), the ring will be available in sizes 7-13. It will weigh between 2-3G and Acer that it is “manufactured from ultra-light titanium alloy.”
Even the Best smart rings Have a plastic interior to better cope with the sensorarray, and we imagine that this will also be the case here. It is a watertight assessment on 5atm, which means that it is shower and swimming safe, but probably not suitable for diving.
The Acer Freesense sounds a lot like other smart rings of Oura and SamsungSpecifically in terms of the data it collects. A ACER press release states that “the Ring Vital Physiological Metrics follows such as heart rate, heart rate variability, blood oxygen levels and sleep quality.
“The data points are analyzed by an accompanying mobile app, which generates personalized wellness insights and gives suggestions. With functions such as sleeping stage analysis and continuous tracking, the Acer Freesense -Ring -ring proactive health management and awareness of lifestyle helps to encourage lifestyle.”
Back in the health and fitness ring
In the past, Acer has released smartwatches and fitness trackers with his Acer Leap range, but none of those devices arranged under the Best fitness trackers From the era, and never really caught. With smart rings now a fast -growing category of health device, this can be a second chance for Acer in the health space.
Acer is also the newest of different smart manufacturer Van Ring to make a point of the fact that the device does not require an additional subscription, as an important sales argument to distinguish it from the similar Oura Ring 4. With so many Health and fitness services now require a subscriptionIt is refreshing to see more companies embracing the one -off purchasing philosophy.
Acer is already working on Computex – in addition to the Freesense – Ring has also announced a few earplugs specifically for translation, a new assortment of electric bicyclesAnd computer equipment.
