Adam Peaty gets Gordon Ramsay’s blessing to marry daughter Holly
OLYMPIC swimmer Adam Peaty has reportedly received Gordon Ramsay’s blessing to marry his daughter Holly.
The 24-year-old made his personal Team GB story public on Instagram in June 2023.

They first met when Holly’s younger sister Tilly took part in Strictly Come Dancing alongside Adam in 2021.
The couple could tie the knot soon after dad Gordon revealed he sees Adam as the “perfect” son-in-law, reports OK! Magazine.
Their source claimed: “Gordon is a really big fan of Adam, he definitely has Ramsay’s approval!”
“Gordon is a former footballer himself, he is good friends with the Beckhams and he appreciates the sacrifices and training that a top athlete like Adam puts into his career.”
They added: “He really likes Adam, the way he treats Holly and is prepared to give his blessing if he proposes to his daughter, which seems very likely. He would love the Olympian to be part of the family.
“These two are a perfect match. Holly herself is very happy, she has fallen hard and she knows that her father thinks Adam will be the perfect son-in-law.
“He’s cool, he’s strict with his regime, which Gordon admires, and he’s a good all-rounder – a perfect match for his daughter. Gordon and Adam also have a great bond – they respect each other, but they also have a lot of banter.”
Adam suffered a huge blow during the Olympics when he tested positive for Covid.
The 29-year-old tested positive on Monday, a day after winning silver in the 100m breaststroke at Paris 2024.
Holly has travelled to Paris to meet her boyfriend and she gives an insight into the trip.
In the 2023 season, Adam took a break from swimming to prioritize his mental health, after admitting he suffered from depression and alcoholism.
In a July 2024 interview, Adam paid tribute to the role the Ramsay family played in his return to the pool, saying: “Gordon inspires me to be successful.
“Holly is clearly part of the core team every day. She is on this journey with me.”
Adam announced in August 2022 that he and Eiri Munroe, 24, who has a young son together, had split.
Holly is signed to EST models and has 329,000 followers on Instagram.
She has her own podcast, 21 & Over, where she talks candidly about her life and her battle with depression.
The chef’s daughter previously had a part-time job at clothing store Brandy Melville.
