Proceedings in the Supreme Court of Victoria have escalated against former Offspring Umpire Troy Pannell, who is confronted with serious accusations of civilian fraud of a total of $ 8.7 million.

In evidence that the court was offered, the legal team referred from Searoad to countless e -mails and financial documents that suggested that Pannell was under financial pressure in the months prior to the revelations.

These include an e -mail sent to his wife, Lynise Woodgate, in October 2023, with the subject line ‘Love U’, in which he apologized and explained: “I am so sorry for everything … I would not feel the way I do today.”

Further documents offered showed that Pannell and MS Woodgate submitted an application to extend their $ 100,000 housing loan with Westpac in January 2024, whereby a breakdown of the costs of living and personal financial data was submitted.
