In addition to the 4x improvement of the AI performance, AMD also has a 35x generation improvement in inference and price performance, which unlocks 40% more tokens-per-dollar compared to the most important like-for-like rival, the Nvidia B200.
Despite the dominance of the NVIDIA market, AMD proudly claims that seven in 10 of the largest model builders and AL companies use its instinct rapists, including meta, Openi” Microsoft and Xai.

In addition to performance, AMD is also appearing on its environmental goals, and claims that the MI350 series GPUs surpassed the five-year organizational objective to improve the energy efficiency of AI training and powerful computer nodes by 30x by reaching a number of 38x.
By 2030, the company also wants to increase the energy efficiency on the rack scale by 20x compared to 2024, and it already predicts a 95% reduction in electricity for typical AI model training.
Looking ahead that the Instinct MI400 series GPUs will deliver up to 10x more performance run -consequently, to the mix of experts models.
Despite the daring claims, the market capitalization of AMD remains considerably lower than that of Nvidia, and reaches $ 192.14 billion on the press.
“AMD stimulates AI innovation at an unprecedented pace, emphasized by the launch of our AMD Instinct MI350 series Accelerators, progress in our next generation AMD ‘Helios’ rack scale solutions and a growing momentum for our ROCM Open Software Stack,” SU said.
