Air pollution in Delhi: SC flags ‘abject failure’ in GRAP-4 implementation, warns of ‘satellite scam’ | India News – Times of India

This is what the Supreme Court said:
- The Supreme Court said GRAP phase IV measures, except for schools, will remain in force until Monday (December 2).
- In the meantime, the court asked the CAQM (
Commission for Air Quality Management ) to hold a meeting and come up with the suggestion to move from GRAP IV to GRAP III or GRAP II. - On the notice that stubble burning will be allowed in Punjab after 4 pm, the court said “if the report is true, it is serious”.
- The Supreme Court said that state authorities cannot advise farmers to take advantage of the fact that activities are currently detected that take place during several hours of the day.

Government of Punjab to immediately advise all officers not to indulge in such actions.
