Ajax manager Alfred Schreuder has lashed out at Antony for his behavior amid interest from Manchester United.
The Red Devils are on the cusp of closing a £84million deal for the Brazilian forward, who arrived at their training ground in Carrington on Monday for his medical.
The confirmation of the move will end one of the longest running transfer sagas of the summer.

Antony was a prime target for United throughout the transfer window, making it clear that he wanted to move to Old Trafford.
Ajax held out as United’s interest increased, but the 22-year-old then refused to train when he tried to force a switch.
He has been left out of Orange’s last two league games after declaring that he had no intention of playing for the club again.

When asked whether Antony can be fined, Schreuder adds: ‘Absolutely. I don’t think it’s good that it can be done within our club.
‘If you’re Ajax, it’s just bad that this happens. I’ve discussed it with him. If you’re disappointed for a day or two, I understand, but at some point you’re a pro.
“Then I said, ‘I’m going to continue with the guys out there’. At some point you get mad about it, like… what are we doing? Looking at the overall picture, this frustrates you as a trainer, but also how you stand in the world.

‘Then I think: ‘you’re just a player, you just have to do your thing’. But my personal feeling is that it’s just bad.’
After Tyrell Malacia and Lisandro Martinez, Antony will be the third player to remove Erik ten Hag from the Eredivisie this summer.
The £84m deal will bring United’s total spending over the period to more than £200m.
