‘Akhilesh ji ka Fear hai, BJP ka ant near hai’: Posters with various slogans seen in UP’s Amethi | India News – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Posters put up by Samajwadi Party leaders praising party chief Akhilesh Yadav while criticizing the Bharatiya Janata Party were seen in Amethi ahead of parliamentary opinion polls in Uttar Pradesh.
The posters featured various slogans, including ‘Akhilesh ji ka fear hai, BJP ka anth close hai” (There is fear of Akhilesh ji and the end of the BJP is near) and “Jitna chunav taloge utna bura haroge” (The more you delay the election, the worse your defeat will be).

The Election Commission has moved by-elections in Uttar Pradesh, Kerala and Punjab from November 13 to November 20. Recently, Akhilesh Yadav alleged that the BJP postponed the elections to avoid voters being affected by “Maha-Berozgari” in Uttar Pradesh, who had returned home from exercising their voting rights from their work locations elsewhere during festivals.
In a post on The BJP has never been so weak. It is a fact that because of ‘Maha- Berozgari’ in UP, people are moving to different parts of the country for work.”

The recent political debate in the country has witnessed numerous exchanges of posters and slogans. In August, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath raised the slogan ‘Batenge toh katenge‘ while he was addressing a meeting in Agra. In October this year, posters with the same slogans were also seen in Maharashtra, where assembly elections are scheduled for November 20.
In response, the SP hung up posters with the text: ‘Mathadheesh kaatenge aur baatenge, PDA jodegi aur jeetegi (The head of the Mathh will divide and cut, the PDA will unite and win).”
A total of nine parliamentary seats will go to by-elections in UP, including Meerapur, Kundarki, Ghaziabad, Khair, Karhal, Sishamau, Phulpur, Katehari and Majhawan.
