Aldi Australia Shoppers claim that a popular item on the shelves is missing: “There is a problem, I am stressed!”

A beloved and handy chapter supermarket is recently difficult to find in the freezing part of Aldi Shops, according to customers.
Earlier this week, disappointed shoppers Reddit To share their struggle to find frozen corn cobs at Aldi and to discuss rumors about a shortage of the range of the budget -super market chain.
It then started a shopper a message uploaded with the title: “So what happened with frozen corn cobs ???”
“My father and I loved the frozen corn cobs, they were of considerable size and usually juicy the way we cook them,” he went out.
‘Now we have to suffer [mainstream] Prices, ugh. ‘
Aldi shares frozen market rate corn cobs in a 1 kg bag, priced at $ 4.59. The budget -supermarket also sells market rate corn kernels in a 1 kg bag, priced at $ 4.19.
The post was confronted with sympathetic answers from fellow shoppers who agreed that they too had trouble finding the popular frozen vegetables in their local Aldi store.
Some assumed that they believed that the missing item was a result of wider ‘seasonal’ and ‘delivery’ problems.

Another responder, who claimed to be an Aldi shop employee, said that the staff was not aware of explaining ‘why we do not get certain things’.
“I usually just think it’s a stock problem/seasonal thing as others said,” they added.
However, the Plankstapper claimed that they personally placed three boxes with Kobs in ours [store] Freezer yesterday, so they still exist at least for the time being. “
Another person, who also said they were working at Aldi, rubbed the rumor of the item and claimed that it was still available in their store. They wrote: “My store is in stock, can’t see why others wouldn’t be.”
Although the original poster understood that delivery problems could be the fault for the disappearance of frozen corn cobs, they were surprised why there still seemed to be ‘tons’ of frozen corn kernels that were available in the Aldi freezer department.
They wrote: ‘[W]He doesn’t just go away [a] couple on the damn COB [a]N[d] Bag it ?? ‘


The original poster on Reddit was surprised that frozen corn cobs from Aldi boards seemed to have disappeared, while bags with frozen corn kernels still seemed to be abundant. Aldi sells market rate corn grains in a 1 kg bag for $ 4.19
In the meantime, other fellow maize enthusiasts suggested that the shopper tried alternative fresh corn.
“Just buy the fresh and freeze them,” recommended a comment.
“You can cut them in the skin in the skin, and then cut and peel peeling … but then enjoy butter and salt,” advised another.
Femail has contacted an Aldi spokesperson for comment.
The rumors missing frozen corn at Aldi comes after another frozen vegetable fuille had become difficult to find in large supermarkets.
Aussie -Shoppers recently kept scratching their heads after frozen potato puree seemed to disappear without a trail of both Woolies and Coles.
The mystery was kicked off by a discussion in one Reddit PostWhen a person wrote: ‘Strange post, I know, but it seems that all brands of frozen potato puree are currently not available and have been for a while.
“Does anyone know what’s going on with this frozen potato shortage? We trust it a few times a week for toddler meals, so it’s actually very annoying. ‘

In mid -June 2025, Femail reached contact with a Woolworths spokesperson, who said: ‘We know that this can be a convenience product for our customers.
‘We currently have different products available, but this can vary per store and we work closely with our various suppliers to supplement shares as quickly as possible. In the meantime, we appreciate the understanding of our customers. ‘
The wire Was flooded with answers from equally bewildered shoppers, many of whom had not seen frozen puree in weeks – or even months.
‘YES! I’ve been trying to get it for weeks and it’s never there, “wrote one person.
“It’s so annoying. I’ve probably been able to find it anywhere for a few months. ‘
Another part: ‘Oh my God, we have noticed this too! It is one of our staples and we went to all stores, and nobody has it. ‘
So where did it go?
According to an employee of the supermarket: “Apparently it is due to an outbreak of foot and mouth diseases in Germany where they get their stock, and they said they were taking care of a replacement to arrive in November.”
This is in line with other comments and notes that many frozen potato products – including some sold in Coles and Woolworths – are manufactured in Belgium and Germany.
Although many Aussies are proud of cooking all over again with fresh ingredients, frozen vegetables such as corn and mashed potatoes are appreciated for their convenience, especially with time -poor parents and busy employees.
