Aldi’s pumpkin purchase that’s £254 cheaper than Le Creuset’s is returned within days

The children have only just returned to school, but it feels like autumn has really started.

The supermarket has announced the long-awaited return of its pumpkin casserole, priced at £14.99, a whopping £254 cheaper than similar Le Creuset products.

It also makes a cute addition to the kitchen, as the pumpkin stem can also serve as a handle.

And it is also practical, with a capacity of 2.2 litres. In addition, it is ovenproof up to 230 degrees.

Although the pumpkin dish is undoubtedly most authentic in the color orange, it is also available in green and white.

Customers will need to be quick to get their hands on one of these dishes when they hit the aisle on September 19, as they sold out instantly last year.

But for those who aren’t lucky enough to get their hands on one of the dishes, there are other fall dishes available as well.

There’s an adorable pumpkin doorstop for £5.99, or a pumpkin cushion for £4.99 and a pumpkin candle for £3.49.

Also available in a cute pinecone design for those feeling a little busier.

For candle lovers, there are many more options, all of which look stylish and seasonal on a mantelpiece.

For £3.99 there is the Autumn Icon Candle and matching Reed Diffuser for the same price. These come in three different seasonal motifs: Fallen Leaves, Pumpkin Picking or Autumn Woodland.

The popular Hotel Collection Hurricane Candles also make a triumphant return to the centre stage in two new autumnal scents – Pumpkin & Caramel and Fallen Leaves – for £19.99.

Aldi also has a faux fur line with a bouclé assortment. The structured footstool costs £19.99 and is half the price of a similar one at Asda.

Pair with a matching throw for £12.99, while a faux fur rug for £7.99 will cosy up any home for autumn.

And if you like gonks, you don’t have to wait until Christmas to get your hands on one.
