Aldi’s sold-out Always Pan and Le Creuset counterfeits will be in the aisle within days
The Always Pan 2.0 from OUR Place is the successful kitchen appliance that everyone has been raving about for the past year.
The £105 pan does the work of 10 products in one appliance – and apparently the £19.99 Aldi knock-off does too.
Both the design and budget versions of the pans have sold out several times. At Aldi, they disappeared from the shelves within a few days in November.
But now, the Always Pan 2.0 imitation is back in the German retailer’s aisle for a limited time.
Supermarket bosses have brought it back as Specialbuy, meaning once it’s gone, it’s gone.
The Crofton Every Ways Pan comes in three colours (slightly fewer than Our Place offers): dusty pink, blue or black.
Expect to see this £19.99 knock-off in stores near you from Thursday 25th July.
“With this Crofton Every Ways Pan you can sauté, sear, strain, bake, roast and boil,” according to Aldi bosses.
“You can really cook with it in all kinds of ways!
“It’s non-stick and dishwasher safe, so enjoy meals without the hassle, knowing cleanup is simple.
“With a lid, steamer and sieve attachment, this is a versatile must-have for any budding chef.”
The multifunctional pan can replace several pieces of traditional cookware.
Budding chefs will be happy to hear that the appliance is perfect for baking, sautéing and comes with a kit that allows you to boil and steam the appliance.
It is also slightly larger than the Our Place Always Pan 2.0, but only by a few inches.
Aldi launched the knock-off in November last year, but it sold out in a few days, so you’ll have to be even quicker this time around.
What’s more, the sleek pan isn’t the only knockoff homeware product Aldi is rolling out in the aisle this week.
Why do Aldi and Lidl have such fast checkouts?
IF you have ever shopped at Aldi or Lidl, you have probably experienced the super-fast checkout staff.
Aldi’s reputation as a fast supermarket is not without reason. The supermarket chain even claims that its checkouts are 40 percent faster than those of competitors.
It’s all part of Aldi’s plan to be as efficient as possible, which, the budget retailer claims, helps keep costs down for customers.
Efficient barcodes on packaging allow employees to scan items as quickly as possible. Most products have multiple barcodes to speed up the process.
Shelf-ready packaging is also used, keeping replenishment costs low.
There are also the brand new Crofton 2 Pack Pasta Bowls in navy, green and white.
These are reminiscent of the £17 Le Creuset Stoneware Dinnerware Pasta Bowl.
But at £2.50 a bowl in the budget supermarket, you’ll save £14.50 if you buy a knock-off version.
“Serve up your pasta dish in style with this Crofton Pasta Bowls 2 Pack,” say Aldi bosses.
“Available in blue, white or green, there’s something for everyone.
“A beautiful dish that is sure to impress any guest before they even start feasting.
“Dishwasher safe means the aftermath of meals won’t be a hassle.”
