Aldi’s sold-out dupe range for £28 Olaplex buys returns to the middle aisle

By now you hopefully know that Aldi’s beauty range is a real treasure.

From knockoff Dior lip balms to an entire knockoff line of Charlotte Tilbury’s cult products, there are enough makeup products to fill an entire makeup bag.

But perhaps the hardest to find are the Olaplex imitations from the budget supermarket.

Fortunately, you no longer have to long for it.

The Lacura hair line will be available again on middle shelves from Thursday (July 25)… but you’ll probably have to be quick.

For blondes, there’s the new Lacura Bonded Purple Shampoo for £3.99. This is a knock-off of Olaxplex’s NO.4P Blonde Enhancer Toning Shampoo for £28.

“The Lacura Bonded Purple Shampoo is formulated with violet pigments to counteract yellow and orange tones, while neutralizing brassy tones for fuller, more radiant hair,” Aldi’s formulaters explained.

“This multi-functional shampoo is made with ingredients that hydrate and soften the hair. It also intensively hydrates the hair from root to tip for a healthy and shiny finish.”

For damaged and coloured hair, there’s the £3.99 Lacura Bonded Pre-Wash, a knock-off of Olaplex’s £28 NO.3 Hair Perfector.

“Treat your luscious locks with the Lacura Bonded Pre-Wash Hair Treatment,” adds the Aldi team.

“This strengthening pre-wash is suitable for all hair types and helps repair, rejuvenate and hydrate damaged hair.”

If you need a new hair mask, you can buy the Lacura Bonded Moisture Mask for £4.99.

This dupe for the £28 Olaplex NO.8 Bond Intense Moisture Mask is said to be an intensive restorative mask that strengthens and smooths damaged hair.

But it’s not just Olaplex duplicates in Lacura’s latest hair care line.

You can also find a knock-off of the celebrity-loved Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo.

This luxury purchase can cost as much as £34 for a jumbo size, but the Lacura Perfect Proof Dry Shampoo costs just £3.49.

Fabulous’ beauty editor Tara Ledden revealed which budget versions of your favorite beauty products you need in your closet.

REAL: Benefit Hoola Matte Bronzer, £32.50 DUPE: Natural Collection Bronzer, £3.50, a saving of £29. The Natural Collection Bronzer is available in more shades, although there is no mirror in the compact.

REAL: Milk Makeup Hydro-Grip Primer, £35 DUPE: Elf Power Grip Primer, £10. These two have a similar green tint and the same long-lasting, mattifying properties. However, Elf’s is so popular that it’s just as hard to get hold of.

REAL: Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lipstick, £28 DUPE: L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Satin Lipstick Beige A Now, £8.99. The shades of these two lipsticks look virtually identical on the lips. The Charlotte Tilbury lipstick is matte, but the L’Oreal Paris Lipstick has a satin finish. This makes it more comfortable to wear all day.

REAL: Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation, £40 DUPE: Collection Lasting Perfection Matte Foundation, £6.99 Although they don’t look the same on the outside, the formula, consistency and longevity of both foundations are pretty much the same. Unfortunately, Collection only comes in 20 shades, while Estee Lauder has 60.

REAL: Glossier Boy Brow, £20 DUPE: Essence Make Me Brow Gel, £2.50 There’s a whole Reddit thread dedicated to this dupe, so you know it’s got to be good. They both have a waxy consistency and added fibres to make brows appear fuller. I have to say the shade range is much better with Boy Brow, but if you’re a tanner there are plenty of Essence shades to try.
