Alibaba and Wix have announced a new partnership, with which customers from both platforms benefit from the functions and services of the other.
In a press release shared with TechRadar ProThe two companies said that the collaboration will merge the Alibaba Ecosystem Ecosystem with Wix’s Website builder and e -commerce infrastructure.
Under the deal, WIX traders get access to the B2B market of Alibaba by simply downloading the Alibaba Seller app via the Wix Marketplace. This allows them to become global gold suppliers and make direct contact with millions of verified global buyers.
At the same time, the sellers of Alibaba B2B and D2C can build store suits with the help of Wix’s AI-driven solutions. Through the partnership they can use Wix’s Ecommerce Automation Solutions, as well as built -in marketing, simplifying brand identity development and reaching a global audience – easily accessible.
Win-win
The collaboration focuses on three important initiatives -integration of the seller -app for simple onboarding and platform -dependent product synchronization, composite sourcing of the wholesale market of Alibaba.com, tailor -made for Wix -traders, and access to Wix’s Ai -Supe for Alibaba.com sellers’ sellers’ sellers’ sellers’ sellers’ sellers’ sellers’ sellers.
Managers from both companies have drawn up the move as a victory for small companies that navigate through the complexity of global trade.
“Our collaboration with Wix simplifies the complexity of international trade,” said Kuo Zhang, president of Alibaba.com, “offering small companies solutions for purchasing, selling and expanding their global reach.”
For Nir Zohar, President of Wix, the move “Powerful new opportunities opens for our users to use international wholesale markets, while they also give Alibaba.com traders the opportunity to create stronger, more direct connections with their customers.”
The rollout will be in phases, the two companies said in the press release, with a number of functions and improvements that are already planned for the future. Among them are AI-driven product discovery, automated onboarding processes and intelligent aids for product deviation.
