Alien: Earth will have you screaming on Hulu and Disney Plus in mid-2025, but the latest teaser won’t
Are you ready to be terrified of xenomorphs and see plenty of face-huggers again? You better be, because Alien: Earth – the first-ever TV series set in the sci-fi horror franchise’s universe – has secured a mid-2025 release date.
Announced in a Disney press release, the show is accompanied by Fargo creator Noah Hawley, will officially debut on Hulu (US) and Disney Plus (international) sometime between June and September of next year. Indeed, the confirmation comes via a brand new teaser for the Stranger franchise’s first small screen project, which revealed Alien: Earth will emerge from its ovomorph in the summer of 2025 (that’s winter for residents of the Southern Hemisphere).
Unfortunately, the series’ latest teaser doesn’t include any new footage for fans to delve into. That will be a serious disappointment for many people, myself included, especially afterwards Alien: EarthThe film’s first teaser was the most disappointing I’d seen in a long time.
To be fair to this latest trailer – if it can be labeled as such – there are some quick-fire clips that appear about halfway through. However, the blurry nature of these clips makes it incredibly difficult to determine what is being shown. All I could notice was a person shouting around 0:24. It’s a bizarre way to market what would be one of the best Hulu shows and the best Disney Plus shows of 2025, especially after a “new to Disney Plus in 2025” trailer that arrived in mid-November , actually some good shows showed footage of it Alien: Earth. So why not include those clips in this new teaser?
