Diego Luna and Adria Arjona have revealed how long they know Ener Season 2The incredibly bittersweet last scene.
Speaking with TechRadar prior to the launch of season 2 at the end of April, the couple admitted that it was a long time ago that they were first told about the Star Wars The last scene of the series.
In fact, it sounds like Luna and Arjona have been aware of the end since the development began EnerThe first season, so it’s a secret that they have had to keep for many years. And, as Arjona told me, that information has not been retained for so long.
Full spoilers follow immediately Ener Season 2 episode 12 and Rogue One: A Star Wars story.
The last scene of Ener Season 2 – and with the Disney+ Show ending after two seasons, the last one we will ever see – reveals that Cassian and Bix, the characters who portrait Luna and Arjona, have become parents.
After we see Cassian and his Android Bestie K-2SO flying to meet Galactic Empire Informant Tivik in the ring of Kafrene-a scene that immediately leads to the 2016 events Rogue Film-We are reunited with Bix on Mina-Rau. Viewers will remember this outer world as the place where Bix, Brasso, Wilmon and B-2Mo have fled to after Ener The final of season 1.
In the meantime, we learn in season 2 episode 9 that Bix made the heartbreaking decision to leave Cassian so that he could concentrate on helping the fast -growing rebel alliance to overthrow the empire. It is then pleasant that we are reunited with Arjona’s fan favorite character one last time for one of the Best Disney+ Shows ends.
What many fans may not have expected is that Bix was pregnant when she left Cassian. The last scene of season 2 not only confirms this because Bix cradles their child when we are reunited with her, but it also seems to have passed for months old since she gave birth. Each arch with three episodes in season 2 takes place a year after their ancestor, so Bix is a mother when we meet her again.
It is a big unveiling, the bittersweet of which is three times. Firstly, it is clear that Bix has made the incredibly difficult decision to leave Cassian to keep their baby safe. Then there is the fact that if Cassian had learned that Bix was pregnant, he would have given up his role in the embryonic uprising to enjoy a peaceful family life with Bix and his newborn.
However, the most tear -binding part of all this is that Cassian never teaches that he has become a father. After helping the Rebel Alliance to acquire the Death Star plans on Scarif in RogueCassian dies when it is now destroying operational, planet-killing super-weapon of the Rijk Superweapon Scarif, ie the planet he and countless other rebel hunters cannot flee after the successful stealing of the blueprints of the Death Star.

Armed with the knowledge that Cassian is being survived by Bix and a child he did not know he had that, fans will not see Rogue In the same light ever again. That is something that Luna teased in detail in the arrival of the arrival of season 2 and, after the release of episode 12, we now know why he is so stuck Rogue Be a completely different viewing experience as soon as everyone had finished watching Ener On one of the world Best streaming services.
‘I knew it [how season 2 would end]”Luna, who also serves as an executive producer EnerTold me.
“From the beginning we knew what the end would be and we always wanted to strive for it. We all knew where we went from the start and, with this a prequel RogueWe understood the assignment. I think that is what this show made differently and we had an end in mind, we held and I hope it will let people look at again Rogue In with a completely new perspective. “

Regarding Arjona’s concerns about sliding and revealing EnerThe official end in advance she said: “He [showrunner Tony Gilroy] Told me fairly early during the development of season one. It was a big secret to keep and I am not very good at keeping them – I am being transmitted a little! But I saved this because it is so important for the story we wanted to tell.
“Tony gave me a very good idea of what the story of season two would be when I initially signed the project,” Arjona added. “When, when he was writing season two, he told me it would end with that shot.
“Most show runners or just people in the industry, they will tell you something to sign up and not follow that promise. But everything Tony told me is exactly what happened and I am very grateful for his honesty.”
