Amber-Resojet to invest Rs 250 crore in washing machine factory in Telangana
HYDERABAD: Amber-Resojet, a 50:50 joint venture between Delhi NCR-based air conditioning solutions provider Amber companies and based in Hyderabad Determined groupis investing Rs 250 crore in setting up manufacturing facilities in the state.
The investment will be made in setting up capacity for the development of fully automatic top load and front load washing machines, together with their components, as part of a strong backward integration strategyThe investment will be phased over a period of five years and will generate direct and indirect jobs for more than 1,000 people, the company said.
The company is also exploring the possibility of setting up an advanced printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing facility in the state soon. The announcement was made on Monday after a delegation from the company met IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu, who assured them of the required government support in providing necessary infrastructure and policy support.
The minister also urged Amber-Resojet to consider making Hyderabad the hub for their South Indian operations and also look at Telangana as a location for their upcoming PCB substrate manufacturing facility.
