AMD’s RX 9070 XT is reportedly at its sweet place for prices – now it is perhaps the best time to buy, for possible price increases later in 2025

- AMD’s RX 9070 XT is probably as low as it will get in terms of prices
- The demand for GPUs (and other components) is expected to spijken later in the year
- In addition to the effects of rates, this can mean considerable price increases for graphic cards, a YouTube -Leaker tells us
This is perhaps the perfect moment to catch and buy one AMD‘S RX 9070 XT -Grafic maps, given that the price of this GPU has recently fallen and will probably rise later in 2025.
That is the theory that drives through Moore’s law is dead (MLID), an ordinary leaker on YouTubeThat RX 9070 XT prices discusses – and the threatening ghost of GPU price rises widely – in the second half of its latest video.
MLID notes that the price tags on the RX 9070 XT have fallen considerably (from almost $ 900 to around $ 700), getting closer to the MSRP (although there is still not entirely – the recommended price is $ 600). It is a similar story in other regions, such as the UK, with prices that have immersed a lot.
That is of course good news for potential buyers, but MLID contacted different sources at retailers and discovered the other non-so-good news about those possible price increases.
MLID explains that prices have fallen at the moment due to slow summer sales – as expected at this time of the year – but that we have probably reached the lowest point. Those retail sources indicate that the prices might fall a touch more, but they are more likely to stabilize at the level where they are now.
In the last quarter of 2025 we will apparently see price increases, but further than the normal seasonal (holiday sales) reasons, that is. The latter will still be a factor here, but MLID claims that there will be extra pressure on all PC components – including GPUs – because companies are forced to upgrade Windows 11.
Remember that Windows 10 will reach the end of the support in October 2025So this will be a factor in Q4, because organizations place orders for new hardware, so that the demand is asked. Consumers will also play in that question to a lesser extent.
The third factor in the game with potential price increases is that in the third quarter of 2025 we told us that the pre-Tariff stocks of components were set to walk dry. All this amounts to a bleak picture for the Q4 offering and offering, praising prices on not only the RX 9070 XT, but all GPUs, and indeed many other components.
What if deals are closed and all Trump rates will disappear later in 2025? Even in that case, due to the nature of shipping electronics and the long transport times related to cargo ships, we cannot expect stock or price lighting in 2025.

Analysis: The Bottom Line
Mlid’s Bottom Line, based on all the conversations he has had with sources in the retail and distribution, is that we are likely to look at price increases from 10% to 30% in various technical goods, including GPUs. That is a rather general statement, but nevertheless a somewhat disturbing – of course, take some herbs with it, although the logic behind YouTuber’s thinking is somewhat logical.
So we’ll be back to the RX 9070 XT-if you are looking for buying an upper-resource range GPU for 1440p or 4k Gaming it seems that July is a good time to buy. Moreover, remember that we have just discovered that the RX 9070 XT is now almost 10% faster Then it was with the launch, thanks to improvements that AMD ushered in with later versions of the graphic driver.
This means that the RX 9070 XT looks a more tempting prospect, especially when you consider that this month will see the cheapest price you will get for this Excellent AMD GPU. Although yes, the fact that it is still about MSRP is perhaps annoying, I don’t deny that – but the 9070 XT is still a lot cheaper than the rival RTX 5070 TI, and a much better value proposition in general.
And talking about that (Also highly appreciated)) Nvidia Graphic card, MLID notes that retail sources indicate that the RTX 5070 TI is now also selling better and apparently the 9070 XT with some retailers is the same (although AMD is still on others). That is of course still a victory for AMD, which is far behind Nvidia in terms of the general desktop GPU market share.
Another thought that can come to you is: what about Black Friday deals for the RX 9070 XT later this year? Given all this chatter, I would not be on something that happens convincingly, especially since graphic cards are never one of the strongest areas for price reduction in that sale. However, the threatening Prime Day is Definitely worthwhile to keep an eye on.
