If you’re a fan of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos in the US, an American man has advised you to absolutely avoid them in Europe.
Justin English uploaded a clip to his TikTok account in which he describes his disastrous experience eating chips while traveling through Amsterdam.
In the video, which has been viewed more than 380,000 times and is captioned “0/10 not recommended,” Justin warns viewers that the spicy snack tastes completely different on the two continents.
He explains that he bought a bag of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos at Schiphol Airport and that the first big difference he noticed was the color of the little corn-cheese sticks.
Recalling the shadow he saw, Justin tells viewers, “So I buy, sit down, open the bag, and they’re orange. There’s no excuse for that.

‘That bright red dye can be used legally in the EU.’
With his “hope waning,” Justin tried the bag of Cheetos, but was bitterly disappointed.
The avid traveler says about the flavor he tasted: ‘It’s damn spicy BBQ.’
As his anger mounts, the content creator continues: “Spicy BBQ… not a single spice in sight.”
To demonstrate how mild the chips were, Justin said he rubbed some chip powder over his eyes with his fingers and it “didn’t sting.”
“Literally the biggest disappointment in my life food-wise,” he expressed his frustration.
Justin said that not only was the BBQ seasoning not “quite hot or spicy,” but it also gave him a stomach ache and diarrhea, so he had to throw the bag away.
“That’s the last thing I want before boarding a three-and-a-half-hour flight,” he said of the alleged digestive upset the snack caused.

The content creator concluded his tirade by saying that he “shouldn’t have expected too much” and that he should have set his expectations “too high” for a country that sells ketchup and Cheetos with peanut butter.
Since Justin uploaded his video, it has received hundreds of comments, with some viewers complaining about similar differences with their snacks abroad.
One commentator wrote: ‘European Takis have broken my spirit.
“The first thing I did after being away for three months was grab a bag of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos and Dunkin’ Coffee the moment I landed at an American airport.”
Another viewer mused: ‘When I lived in Dublin and bought spicy chips and bit into them and they were so sweet… it nearly drove me crazy.’
Many people who commented said they understood Justin’s crazy reaction. One person wrote, “I would burst into tears.”
