Lauren Harries has been put into an induced coma after major brain surgery.
The former Celebrity Big Brother star, 45, was hospitalized last month after experiencing terrible headaches and blackouts, with unknown cause of her problems.
Her family notified fans and shared on Lauren’s Twitter: ‘Last night Lauren had a seizure and the doctors had to put her in an induced coma to get it under control.
“Lauren needs all your support and wishes, she loves you all.”
It comes after the brave Lauren posed for photos at the hospital following emergency surgery where her hair was shaved off.

Lauren’s mother took to her Twitter page to update fans and assured her followers that her daughter would be home soon.
She wrote, “Lauren is undergoing physical therapy to regain her strength after surgery. She is still in the hospital, but hopefully she will be home soon.
“It’s been such a stressful time, but she knows her family is always with her. We all love her so much, mother and daughter love is so strong!’
Lauren was hospitalized last month before undergoing her brain surgery.
Earlier this month, she took to her social media pages to tell fans that he nearly died as a result of her illness.
The TV personality took to her Instagram stories to tell her followers, “Hello my stars. Well, I’m still in the hospital.
“Almost dying makes you appreciate every moment. So enjoy the sun and know that I love you. Light, love and peace.’
She then shared a photo of one of her self-portraits that she sells on her website, and some of the get well cards she’s received.
The reassuring post came a day after Lauren’s mother asked Katy for help due to Lauren’s “incredibly scary” blackouts and headaches.
Lauren was first hospitalized for the procedure on April 14, of unknown cause.
Katy has provided updates on her daughter’s condition and has now asked for help as the NHS struggles to find answers after saving her life.

Her mother posted an update on Lauren’s Twitter, writing, “Please help: Lauren has had a number of blackouts, after which the right side of her face hangs down.
“This is incredibly scary for Lauren and us. She also has constant headaches. Drs has not been able to explain the cause of this.’
Katy continued, “Have you or anyone you know experienced this? Any ideas or help you could provide will be so helpful.
“The NHS rescued Lauren, but they can’t find answers to this and it’s so scary when it happens.
“Yesterday it happened again. Please help find out what’s causing this!’
Last month, Katy shared that Lauren was rushed to intensive care after contracting infections before going back to neurology.
In the update, shared on Lauren’s official Twitter account at the time, Katy said Lauren was “awake and talking” and urged people to “pray for her.”
She shared: ‘Lauren was transferred to ICU when she contracted Covid as well as 2 infections which caused her breathing problems.
“She’s awake and talking back into Neurology. Once again I would like to thank all the wonderful staff at Heath Hospital. She still has a way to go, but she is strong. Pray for her.’
Lauren rose to fame as a precocious 12-year-old antiques expert named James, appearing on the Antiques Roadshow and Wogan, before undergoing sex reassignment surgery in 2003.

The latest health update comes a week after Katy told fans Lauren had been returned to recovery, where she was being “closely monitored.”
Katy had previously shared that Lauren “would have died” if she hadn’t had the surgery and explained how doctors had to perform Lauren’s “worst nightmare” by shaving her hair off.
Lying in the hospital with an art book, the TV star still managed to flash a smile for the photo while bandaged.
Many fans rallied to show their support to Lauren as they replied wishing her a speedy recovery.
