A MAKEUP influencer has demonstrated an affordable $70 Chanel foundation dupe.
The $22 makeup product performed identically to the more expensive branded version and left her skin looking “glowing.”
Sarah (@sarah_wolak) shared the beauty deal in a TikTok video.
She commented on a video of herself trying the $70 Chanel Les Beiges Water-Fresh shade.
Although Sarah found the price tag “unrealistic,” she found a dupe in the Covergirl Simply Ageless Skin Perfector Essence from $20.
“From what I've seen, it literally should be the exact same product,” she said.

She squeezed the product from the pump directly onto her face and said the texture of the dupe was the same as the original.
After blending the foundation into her skin with her fingers to “crack” the pigments, she noticed a difference.
“Newsflash, this one is arguably more pigmented than Chanel's,” she said.
“If you compare the two videos, this one has more pigment. I wouldn't say there's more left, there's just more color in it.”

She blended the product out with a brush and sponge and was impressed with the final look.
“Keep in mind, I didn't have any primer on, I didn't have any moisturizer on,” she said.
“I just had a serum that I applied a few hours ago and I feel like my skin looks very glowy and very healthy.
“This type of formula is about as weightless as it gets, but no matter how thin it is, my skin looks even.”
People raved about the Covergirl dupe's performance.
“Ooh, I'm obsessed with this stuff! Especially on mature skin. A little goes a long way,” said one commenter.
“That's my go-to product on my no-makeup, no-makeup days,” said another.
