However, by sharing a photo of his workstation on X, formerly known as Twitter, Scobie revealed to royal fans a taste of what to expect in the book.

The front cover of the book features three royal couples; King Charles and Queen Camilla, the Prince and Princess of Wales, and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Scobie’s photo also showed his laptop screen where he had written Chapter 13 of the book – which appears to be a criticism of the British press.

The chapter is titled ‘A Dangerous Game: Royals and the Media’.

There are two opening quotes on the page. One quote is attributed to Prince Harry and reads: ‘My problem has never been with the monarchy, or with the concept of the monarchy. It’s with the press.’

The second quote is attributed to the former Prime Minister of the Soviet Union, Nikita Khrushchev. It says: ‘The press is our most important ideological weapon.’

Omid Scobie, royal biographer, has previewed his new book Endgame

On the social media platform, Scobie quoted world-renowned author Toni Morrison and said Endgame was his most challenging project yet.

He added, “I did! It has been the hardest work of my career, but finally, in four weeks, #ENDGAME will tell the royal story like NEVER before.”

The preview of the book comes after Scobie previously revealed that an entire chapter of Endgame focuses on Prince William.

Here are the titles of the first nine chapters in Endgame, as revealed today by Omid Scobie on X:

The chapter will be called “Gloves on: Prince William, Heir to the Throne,” as he confirmed it was at the printer.

The Prince and Princess of Wales’ staff are likely to be concerned that the Chapter will not be favorable to the Prince, and will instead repeat some of the allegations made in Harry’s book Spare.

This could include an alleged physical altercation in which Prince William allegedly pushed Harry into a dog bowl at the Frogmore cottage.

The duke also wrote that his brother, whom he has not spoken to for months, called his wife ‘difficult’, ‘rude’ and ‘abrasive’.

Other chapters in the book include one entitled ‘Shaky Ground: The Queen is Dead, the Monarchy Faces Trouble’ and another entitled ‘Race and the Royals: Institutional Bigotry and Denial’.

There is also a chapter entitled ‘Oh God, I Hate This’: King Charles’s Premiere’ – a reference to a comment by Charles about a pen leaking while signing a visitors book in Belfast, four days after Queen Elizabeth’s death II. .
