‘House of the Dragon’ Season 2: Everything You Need to Know

More fire, more blood. We are counting down the days until Game of Thrones precursor House of the Dragon returns for season 2. The HBO series, based on George R. R. Martin‘s novel Fire & Bloodis expected to make fewer time jumps after the first season took more than a decade to explain how Rhaenyra (Emma D’Arcy) and Alicent (Olivia Cooke) started their family feud. The season 1 finale set the stage for the civil war between Rhaenyra and half-brother Aegon II (Tom Glynn-Carney) over the Iron Throne. The turning point, which took place in the final episode, was the death of Rhaenyra’s son Lucerys (Elliot Grihault).
