The mom whose bare butt went viral when she planted her face at a parent race on her daughter’s sports day has said she has promised her children she will never compete again.

Katie Hannaford, 37, from Basildon, Essex, was red-faced after her then eight-year-old convinced her to take up running last summer.

Funny footage showed the mother lined up in the third lane from the left – just ahead of Katie, owner of a homewares business, who ended up having to plant the floor during the race.

Unfortunately, her dress came over her head, revealing her underwear for all of the audience.

Speak against LAD Bible over the weekend, Katie opened up about the viral moment — revealing how she’s now banned “never again” from competing in her parents’ races.

“I’ve promised my girls I’ll never do a parent race again,” the mom revealed.

‘Recently there was a parent dance at my daughter’s dance competition. They announced it, the girls looked at me and said “No, mommy”. I agreed to miss it!’

When asked if she’s participating in Sports Day this year, Katie said, “Absolutely not, as much fun as it was, I think my running days are over!”

She also discussed her daughter’s reaction to the aftermath of her fall, with Katie revealing, “She thought it was funny. She said everyone at school was talking about it, but it was a lot of fun.’

A few days after the footage went viral, Katie revealed that she had received 500 messages from suitors from all over the world, and that she and her children are being recognized in their local town, in their Tesco and online.

After agreeing to let her derrière become a sensation, Katie relented The mirror that she was drawing attention.

“I’ve had thousands of messages — at least 500 of them are from men from Greece, Puerto Rico, Germany and even Australia, asking ‘how are you single?’ and call me a “MILF,” Katie said.

The mother-of-two added that she received touching messages, including one telling her the video was the first to make them laugh for the first time in half a year.

Katie, who called herself “clumsy,” admitted that she also received mean messages. but said they couldn’t reach her.

She added that she had no intention of becoming famous and it just happened to her.

She added that most people called her a good sport and a “great mother” after the moment.

“The whole world has seen my butt now, but it is what it is – I can’t hide from it.” I don’t care,’ she said.

Katie also recalled, “I’m not sporty at all, but [my daughter] kept begging me. In the end I agreed to the race – I knew I would come last. I just tripped over my own feet – I think my body was just moving too fast for my legs! I’m so clumsy, I always fall over.

‘I was humiliated then, but it is what it is! I flashed my underwear, which of course is embarrassing, but you just have to own it. Looking back, it’s hilarious. Absolutely the funniest thing I’ve ever done in my life!’
