James Anderson made his Test debut for England in 2002 and is still going strong, even at the age of 41.
Dharamsala: England’s James Anderson became the first pacer and third overall to reach 700 Test wickets in the ongoing fifth Test match against India in Dharamsala on Saturday. The only two other bowlers to cross the coveted milestone are Sri Lanka’s Muttiah Muralitharan and the late Australian Shane Warne. The 41-year-old achieved the feat when Kuldeep Yadav fell behind to Ben Foakes as the entire stadium rose to give the Swing King a standing ovation.

While Muralitharan retired at 800 Test wickets, Warne retired at 708. Only Anil Kumble (619) and Stuart Broad (604) are behind Anderson.
