Molong, NSW crash: woman dead, driver and girls injured

Woman, 36, killed and driver, 35, fighting for life after horror crash that also injured girls aged 8 and 13

A woman is dead and two children injured in a horror crash that also left a man fighting for his life.

A sedan and a ute collided on Speedy Street in Molong, New South Wales Central West region at about 3.40pm Friday.

The 36-year-old female driver of the sedan died at the scene.

Her two passengers, girls aged eight and thirteen, were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

A 35-year-old man driving the ute was freed from the wreckage by firefighters and taken to hospital in critical condition.

Police have identified a crime scene.
