Anthony Joshua was confronted with forgotten heavyweight Mahmoud Charr – as Eddie Hearn confirmed plans for a two -rate agreement.
AJ has been out of operation since a knockout loss for Daniel Dubois in September while an elbow injury – who needed surgery – has put him offside.
But promoter Hearn unveiled conversations with Saudi Boxing Supremo Turki Alalshikh and Riyadh season for a few attacks are underway.
He told Boxing scene: “We are actually discussing a two-fight agreement with the Riyadh season.
“We did that, [Turki Alalshikh] Said that in the night of Canelo-Scull, when we had our meeting, and that is really the plan.
“We want somewhere this year, October, November, December.”
Dubois, 27, now brake Oleksandr Usyk, 38, On July 19 in Wembley Two years after his loss of stops for the Ukrainian.
UsyK comes last year two wins at Tyson Fury, 36, which led to the Gypsy King’s surprise pension in January.
Hearn still hopes that Fury will return to Joshua, 35, while the undisputed title collision of London will also invoice in their next move.
He said: “We will see what is happening with Dubois-Musyk. We will see what happens to anger.

“If we don’t fight those boys, maybe we’ll fight against one of those boys next year.”
Another name hopes to put itself in the mix to fight against Joshua is the German Charr born in Lebanon – He changed his name from Manuel to Mahmoud.
Charr Long held the secondary heavyweight title of the WBA but has not lost it to Kubrat Pulev in December – has not returned since then.
He now lives in Dubai, where AJ recently was on vacation before he also traveled to Oman during a visit.
Charr went face-to-face in a tense look with Joshua and said, “There is only one giant in Syria.”
The 40-year-old has a record of 34-5, in particular loses against Vitali Klitschko in 2012.
But his career – and life – was almost ended in 2015 when he was the target of one Drive-by shoot in a kebab store in Essen.
He survived in a wonderful way and lived to see his shooter, Youssef Hassan, sentenced to five years in prison after also undergoing two hip operations.
Charr was amazingly back in the Ring just nine months later – to close a really incredible comeback.
He was 32 attacks in his career when his life was almost taken from him, after a cowardly attack by a Facebook troll.
The attacker had provoked the hunter online and had formed videos of his losses on social media.
But when Charr offered to see the man personally behind the screen, he was subject to a murder attack.
Charr then had two repayment fights, but later needed a double replacement, which in 2017 underwent surgery at the age of only 32.
He said to Sunsport in 2022: “I am not afraid of anyone. Fear is a feeling and feelings can be controlled. Fear only exists in your mind.”
