Anthropic has launched a new business plan for Claude
The Claude for Enterprise plan was launched by Anthropic on Wednesday. The new plan, aimed at enterprises, offers a higher context window and usability of the company’s native artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot. The plan also offers enterprises a native integration of the chatbot with GitHub, giving them access to the open-source platform’s codebases. With previously launched features like Project and Artifact, the AI company claims the enterprise version of the chatbot can be an end-to-end solution for businesses.
Claude for Enterprise Plan launched
In a blog postAnthropic announced the launch of the enterprise-grade plan, which not only offers a customized version of the chatbot, but also adds enhanced capabilities and additional features to make Claude more useful for businesses.
Some of the benefits that businesses can get with the plan include an expanded context window of 500,000 tokens. The AI company claims that this is equivalent to documents of over 100 pages or a medium-sized codebase. This makes entering business-specific information into the chatbot easier than in the public version.
Anthropic also emphasized a higher usage capacity, but the company did not specify the speed limit. It is likely that the speed limit will be determined based on the size of the company and the usage scenario.
Additionally, those who subscribe to the Claude for Enterprise plan will also find a native integration of GitHub within the chatbot. The AI company claims that this will allow businesses to sync with the open-source platform’s repository and codebases. This feature is currently available in beta and will be rolled out to early adopters of the Enterprise plan. It will be broadly available later this year.
Finally, the company has also offered additional security features in its Enterprise plan. Some of these include single sign-on (SSO) and domain capture capabilities to let companies manage the security of user access, granular control over permissions, audit logs, and System for Cross-domain Identity Management (SCIM). The latter enables automation of the process of exchanging user identity information between disparate IT systems.
Since it is a business plan, Anthropic has not disclosed pricing. Interested companies can contact the company to get a quote, depending on the size of the company and operational needs.
