Apple is bringing dark mode support and other new features to iCloud

Apple has revamped its iCloud website – the platform that lets iPhone, iPad, Mac and other Apple device users access apps and other settings from a web browser on any device. It now gets dark mode support and also offers new customization options for choosing the homepage colors. Additionally, the iCloud update also tweaks the design, layout, and options in several Apple apps, such as Calendar, Photos, Notes, and more.

According to for Apple, iCloud will now match device settings with a light or dark mode color scheme. Previously, only Light mode was available on the website. Users can also choose between different colors for the homepage with a new customization option appearing at the bottom of the homepage.

The Cupertino-based tech giant has also revamped the design of its Calendar app to include support for the Arabic calendar, also known as the Hijri calendar. The iCloud Drive has a shared view tab that allows users to see the files that have been shared with them.

Apple’s Photos app features new changes with improved navigation. Users can now quickly jump to a month or year in their library by clicking the calendar icon. Meanwhile, they can also change the date, time and location of their photos through the information panel. On the Photos tile on the homepage, Apple now supports album view.

After the iCloud update, Notes can now be pinned to the top of the list for quick access. It can also display pinned notes or pin new notes directly to the notes tile on the home page. To modify the pinned notes, users simply right-click or Control-click (on Mac). Apple is also introducing new ways to organize by creating new reminder lists and completing recurring reminders.
