A man was rushed to hospital after being hit by 500kg of falling wet concrete.

The 38-year-old man was struck by concrete at a construction site in Sydney’s south on the M6 ​​motorway at Marsh St in Arncliffe at 2am on Thursday morning.

He was taken to St. George’s Hospital and is said to be in stable condition.

Emergency services rushed to the scene and treated the man for neck and wrist injuries, police told Seven News.

The incident is being treated as an industrial accident and has been referred to SafeWork NSW.
