Pundit questions Isak Swoop
Former Manchester United and Tottenham star Teddy Sheringham have wondered whether Newcasle attacker Alexander Isak would like to become a member of Arsenal.
Sherdingham told Prime casino: “I think, you know, he is absolutely praised as a center ahead in Newcastle, so why would he want to go?
“He may not want to change. It will not be much better than fans who love you, and your team plays to the best aspects of your game, and you are the center. You earn good money and you are in the team.
“You play at the highest level and players understand that you and your manager love you. So you know, you, I would be very surprised if he wanted to go somewhere else at the moment.
“Newcastle look nailed for Champions League Football next season. They are a club that moved in the right direction, won their first trophy in 70 years this season.
“I think all their top players want to stay, and I think it would cost ridiculous money to get one from Isak, Gordon or Guimares from the club now. They don’t have to sell them with the Campions League football root.”
