Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal, who is often criticized for his so-called ‘freebie’ policies, highlighted what he believes is the global appeal of ‘revdi’ by referring to a recent promise by the US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.
During a speech at the Detroit Economic Club on Thursday, Trump promised to lower the price of energy and electricity. ‘I will halve the price of energy and electricity within twelve months. We will seriously accelerate our environmental approvals and quickly double our electricity capacity. This will reduce inflation and make America and Michigan the best place on earth to build a factory. ” Trump said in a message on X.

Reacting to Trump’s post, the former Delhi CM said, “Trump has announced that he will cut electricity tariffs by half. Free ki revri reach the US.”
AAP leader and Rajya Sabha MP also responded to Trump’s post. While praising Kejriwal, Chadha said, “Trump’s 50% discount on electricity bills shows how Arvind Kejriwal has set the benchmark for global governance! His model of governance – affordable electricity, free water, quality healthcare and free world-class education – is a shining example of welfarism done right. The world is taking notice.”
