Audi of trainee IAS officer has 21 pending fines | India News – Times of India
MONEY: Trial IAS Officer Puja Khedkar‘s private Audi A4, with a beacon and the insignia “Maharashtra Govt”, was issued 21 challenges – worth Rs 26,000 – for previous traffic violations, Pune ACP Manoj Patil said.
The fines, which have been issued for violations such as speeding, ignoring indicators and refusing to stop when asked by police, have been due for processing since 2022. “The traffic police have issued one more fine of Rs 500 for using a flashing light and ‘Maharashtra Govt’ logo on the car,” Patil said.
“The car used by Khedkar is registered in the name of a company – Thermoverita Engineering Private Limited,” he added. Officials of Pune RTO said the car was registered on January 27, 2012.
Inspector Shafil Pathan said, “A notice was issued in the name of Puja Khedkar when she was using the car. It was confirmed by video evidence we collected from the Washington office. Videos are also available on various online news portals. We have asked her to take the car with the registration papers to the traffic department office for verification and legal action.”
