Aussie Olympian Michelle Jenneke has revealed that she is faltering after the death of her ‘crazy and great’ mother Nicky.
The 31-year-old Hurdler announced the sad news in an emotional Instagram post, but did not reveal the cause of death.
“Last week we said goodbye to my crazy and great mother,” she wrote.
‘Always the life of the party, she taught me how I could enjoy fun on every occasion and fully live life.
‘Forever my biggest supporter, the loudest person on the track and a warm and generous friend for everyone around her.
“Thanks for all the memories, we will always love and miss you.”

Nicky was also a member of the Cherrybrook Athletics Club in Sydney, who placed its own tribute.
