A young Aussie tourist who died during the vacation Thailand has been identified as a tradion of Melbourne.

Corey Walsh, 22, was on a tour off the coast of Phuket then He dived From the Marinda 2 -tour boat while they were drunk on Tuesday.

Mr. Walsh, a roof plumber of Frankston, was intoxicated when he jumped into the water near Koh Racha Yai – a popular destination for snorkeling.

It is believed that the 22-year-old was dragged under water because of a strong stream, despite his efforts to paddle and float.

Walsh was removed from the water unconscious and not reacting, whereby tour leaders carried out the local time for emergency services at about 14.28 hours.

Doctors immediately administered CPR to the young traveler while they were on the deck of the boat before they brought him to the Chalong hospital in Phuket.

Despite their efforts, the staff in the hospital explained Mr Walsh.

The boat trip from the island of Koh Racha Yai can take between 45 minutes and an hour, with an extra drive of 15 minutes from the harbor to the Chalong Hospital.

Friends have shared a heartbreaking tribute, where many describe Mr Walsh as a true young man with a ‘beautiful soul’.

Walsh’s friend Zack Williams described the young tradia as a ‘unique friend’ in a moving post shared on social media.

“There was serious time that you didn’t have a smile on your face, and the way you could raise the mood of everyone was insane,” Mr. Williams wrote.

Another friend wrote: ‘You are the most real and extroverted person I know that everyone in the Smoko barns can make you smile in a Monday morning’

‘A guy with whom you can talk about things and not be assessed. A loving caring and all -round soldier. You will be missing my little guy very much.

“I love you hope mate until we meet again.”

A Gofundme was established to help Mr Walsh’s family with funeral costs and any extra costs.

“This is for a Corey, a young man who struck people’s heart because he was a nice, caring and just a beautiful soul,” it says.

‘From a stranger to family to friends, he seemed to put a smile on everyone’s face.

‘We want to help the family by doing this fundraising to show support and how much love this man bought for this world.

“Our condolences go to the Walsh family and just a huge thank you for raising this one of a friendly Lord.”

At the time of writing, the GoFundMe received 97 donations of a total of $ 10,305 and has a goal to pick up $ 20,000.

A spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade said that the staff supported the young man’s family.

“We send our deepest condolences to the family at this difficult time,” he said.

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade offers consular assistance to the family of an Australian who died in Thailand.”

Mr. Walsh’s body was taken to the Vachira Phuket hospital, while officials organized his repatriation.

It is believed that his body has since arrived in Melbourne, where his family organizes funeral arrangements.

Lieutenant -Kolonel Kanen Somrak from the police of the Chalong police station said that Mr Walsh was one of the seven foreign tourists on the Tour boat.

“The victim had used a large amount of alcohol before he entered the water,” he said.

“He was reportedly intoxicated and repeatedly jumped in and out of the sea before he finally drowned.

“No illegal substances were found on the spot. Only empty bottles for alcohol drinks were discovered. ‘
