Avowed is a fun and action-packed RPG at Gamescom
I’m here at games.com and I just finished playing the upcoming RPG from Xbox. I’m out of their booth right now. And if you’re a fan of Skyrim, pay attention, I’ve spent about half an hour with the game. And while it doesn’t have specific character classes, the demo let us choose between builds that were similar to rogue mage or what I chose. Barbarian. I had a sword and an axe with ice magic in my hands. I did a side quest where I had to track down a missing relic and a group of warriors before I realized that the person who sent me on the quest was going to cheat on me instead of talking about it. I chose to kill him instead. And this led to an optional boss fight where I got away with his fire sword. The game is shaping up nicely and the dialogue was much funnier than I expected. AV comes out on February 18th for Xbox and PC and will be day one on Game Pass.
