Baba Siddique murder case: Gunman, four others arrested by UP
NEW DELHI: Mumbai crime branch on Sunday announced that they have arrested the gunman in the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique from Uttar Pradesh. In a joint operation with the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF), comprising six officers and 15 personnel, police arrested suspected shooter Shiva Kumar along with four other suspects.
They are now being transported to Mumbai.

Besides Shiva Kumar, four others – Anurag Kashyap, Gyan Prakash Tripathi, Akash Srivastava and Akhileshendra Pratap Singh – were also arrested for helping him escape and attempt to flee to Nepal.
Siddique was fatally shot by three assailants outside the office building of his son, MLA Zeeshan Siddique, in Bandra East on October 12. He suffered two gunshot wounds in his chest and was taken to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai, where he succumbed.
