‘I have given priority to it. Not active dating. Yes, see someone, “he repeated and did his best to keep the details private – and for a good reason.

“It’s a challenge. It is one of the reasons why I am so fierce private, despite the fact that I went on national television so far, “said the astrophysicist.

“I am fiercely private about my dating life because it is much more difficult to date in public interest.”

Matt continued the in the lead role in the Channel Ten Matchmaking series has forced him to become more aware of whether people want to go out alone for the ‘novelty’ of it.

“In terms of trying to distinguish and understand the intentions of people, it is not as difficult as it sounds,” he said when he was asked how he finds out who is in the right reasons.

‘People are usually appearing about the fact that they have viewed [The Bachelor].

“It is pretty clear early when a person is more interested in the novelty to find out what happened in the show.”

Matt further said that his ‘ideal scenario’ met someone on the dating apps that did not recognize him and not watched the bachelor.

He said that people who had no idea who he was, were more likely to get to know him on a more personal level, removed from his public personality.

Although the uncomfortable moment would always come if he had to break the news from his TV ramp to them.

“Usually when we continue to exchange social media details … have 130,000 followers and a blue tap usually questions,” he said.

“That is usually the natural point that I say:” Look, I was on television a few years ago. ” It is usually that point that I bring it up. ‘

Although Matt has never had a preference who dates with someone in the public eye or from public interest, he said it is benefits to be with another media personality.

‘I am with both people who have been in the media and entertainment circle and those who have not been. There are absolutely differences, “he explained.

‘When going out of people who have been in public interest in that kind of entertainment, a job for social media, there is an extra level of understanding of things.

‘It is easier for certain things if you attend an event together, there is a feeling of how things like a red carpet work. It seems really trivial, but it can be intimidating.

“I have had in the past where I had a few dates with someone, it went really well and they said they can’t deal with public things.”

“It’s a shame if it happens, because if that is the only thing that stops us, it’s frustrating,” he added.

Matt’s love life has long been the subject of headlines after he broke the heart of Abbie Chatfield on the 2019 Series of the BachelorAlthough they are now good friends.

The handsome bachelor chose to pursue a relationship with Chelsie McLeod, although they announced their split to just a few months after the final.

He later confirmed that he went out with comedian Gen Fricker before he revealed that he was single again not long after.

Over the years he has been romantically linked to various people, such as ‘croissant Queen’ Kate Reid and openly Gay MasterChef star Khanh ong.

However, Matt denied both relationships and took a special exception to the fact that people continued to read with Khanh in his close and affectionate friendship.

Fortunately, despite his past love misery, it seems that Matt is now very happy with his current mysterious partner.

Although he did not want to say how long the couple was together, the TV star content sounded with where his life, both in and out of love, was advanced.

'I give priority to my love life, yes, love life. I see someone. So not active dating,

That is quite a relief, as Matt said that that was not the case, only a handful of years ago.

“My lowest point was in 2021. I just hit the low point,” he said when the subject of mental health was discussed – something that Matt is a very public supporter.

‘I experienced really strong suicide thoughts. Sometimes I acted according to those things.

‘I was not successful in the very happy case, I managed to pull myself out of the hole.

‘One of the reasons I have endured was the love and support of friends and family, and also the financial means to seek extra professional health care.

‘I was admitted to a mental health care hospital for a few weeks. That is not something that every Australian has access. ‘

Matt also acknowledged how privileged he feels to have had the resources and the supporting network to seek help at his darkest moment.

‘I am lucky that I have a loving unity to support myself. It’s not something that every Australian has, “he said.

‘It is really difficult for me to see the best way for people to get through the dark times is because some people are not in happy places.

“I hope that everyone has friends, family and a loving support network to help them take care of them and get them off the bottom, but unfortunately that is not always the case.”

Matt said his passion for ‘normalizing’ mental disorders to help those who fight with it a large part of the reason he collaborated with Myob and the new Solo app.

Solo by Myob is the all-in-one business admin app for Australian Sole Operators.

Customers get access to an online community of colleague -great traders to share advice and practical tips, to promote cooperation and to reduce insulation.

According to the company, 60 percent of male only dealers’ respondents agree that they are physically or mentally exhausted by the requirements to be a single trader.

While 54 percent sometimes feel lonely or isolated as a male only trader, of which Matt says it can worsen the effects of mental disorders.

“It’s something I’ve been working on for a long time. A large part of it is attributed to my own experiences that fight mental disorders over the years, “said Matt.

‘I was diagnosed for the first time with fear more than two decades ago when I was 12 or 13 years old. It is something I experienced during my life.

‘I also had depression and bipolar diagnoses more recently. It is something I personally fight with.

‘I have had a number of really dark moments where I have been openly and openly open. Talking about it, I think, is still very important to normalize those conversations.

“Let people fight against their own mental disorders, have the feeling that there is nothing wrong with them.”
