He has been living in secrecy in Sydney for nearly a year, having been forced to leave his two-bedroom home in Richmond in March 2020.

And former Bachelor star Matt Agnew certainly looked like a Sydneysider on Saturday when he took his dog Pluto for a walk around Bondi Beach.

The astrophysicist, 34, sported a hipster beard and his long locks in a ponytail.

Matt looked bland in a brown jacket and striped T-shirt, which he paired with slightly ripped jeans.

He completed his outfit with white sneakers and listened to music through AirPods.

The data scientist kept his Labrador on a leash as they went for a walk on the beach.

Daily Mail Australia reported earlier this year that Matt had decided to move to Emerald City last September, after being forced to leave his 1890s two-bedroom home in Richmond, Melbourne, in March 2020.

Built more than 130 years ago, the property that Matt called his home went on sale in March 2020, before selling for a staggering $1,120,000 in May this year.

“After the lockdown last year, I just wanted to change my environment a bit… but things didn’t quite go to plan,” he said of his move.

The handsome star quietly unpacked his two-bedroom house in a similar estate in a Sydney suburb, where he lives with his pet Labrador, Pluto.

He currently works in his industry as a data scientist.

“I decided I wanted to move into AI work, and data science is the natural path from where I was in my career,” he said.

‘It’s really fun and has a huge application in the real world!’
