A teenager who is addicted to SunBeds has revealed that she has seen worrying signs of UV damage to her body – but still cannot stop browning.
Megan Blain, 18, who has been using sunbeds almost every day for three years, has previously revealed how she was abused online about her habit, which she uses to achieve a deep bronzed look.
Some of the dirtiest remarks have compared her to a ‘dirty 2P -Munt’ – but she still visits the salon every day.
Now Megan, from Seaham, County Durham, has revealed that she found new birthmarks on her body that she did not seem to have before she started to brown regularly – and other people have warned about trying sunbeds.
Her tanning addiction started when she was only 16 years old, hoping to maintain a color that lasted all year round.
She exchanged fake brown products for tanning beds and even started to inject herself with tanning agents to reach a deeper glow.
Although in the beginning she ‘didn’t know much about tanning beds’, she spent more than a year on the beds under the UV lights for half an hour, often covered with baby oil to improve the results.
In a real video, she said: ‘I started noting mother stains on my back, my hands – I have moles everywhere, but you do get mole off the sunbed. I didn’t know if the birthmarks were cancer.
